After having completed the abstract selection phase by the International Scientific Committee, “The 1st Smart cities, towns, rural and mountain villages International Congress”, organized by La.Pi.S. (Laboratorio Pinerolese per la città e il territorio Smart), moves on to the paper evaluation phase and expert guest invitations to present their scientific contributions.
The Congress will be held in presence in Turin – Italy – on 21 November 2024, within the 2024 edition of RESTRCTURA, Oval Pavilion, Lingotto Exibition Center.
The theme of the Congress is: Smart strategies to mitigate causes and effects of climate change and reduce the environmental footprint.
With this Congress, La.Pi.S. intends to present contributions about case studies, best practices, projects, scientific research, innovative proposals focused on new building, urban, territorial and landscape design approaches to tackle climate change in smart cities, towns, rural and mountain villages according to the innovative AI and IoT applications.
The event represents an opportunity to exchange scientific and technical international knowledges and experiences among experts, a melting point of contributions aimed at providing innovative answers to mitigate the causes and effects of climate change through a smart approach.

The panel of Authors, who will present their contributions to the Congress, ensures a high scientific level.
Waiting to define the program and publish it with the presentation titles and the names of the speakers, we invite all experts in the smart city sector and in the sustainable development of cities and territories, academics, researchers, designers, entrepreneurs, public administrators, public and private decision makers, NGOs to attend the event. The participation will be free.
